SPACE PLANNING

Beautiful homes can still be frustrating to live in if the storage has not been planned properly. Cupboards can look lovely but fail to hold what your family actually owns. Wardrobes can be bespoke but still awkward. Kitchens can be expensive but miss the small details that make everyday life easier.

My space planning service helps you think about how your home needs to function before money is spent

on furniture, cabinetry, wardrobes, utility rooms or renovation plans.

The support I offer

I look at your belongings, routines and pressure points before helping you plan storage and room layouts that make sense:

  • Review existing cupboards, wardrobes and storage

  • Look at what needs to live in each room

  • Advise on shelves, drawers, hanging space and zones

  • Help you avoid wasted or awkward storage

  • Work alongside interior designers, carpenters, architects or builders

  • Plan storage before a renovation or redesign

  • Suggest practical products, furniture or systems

  • Help you understand what should be kept, moved, reduced or rehomed

How it changes the way you feel

Good spatial planning removes the daily irritation from your home. You stop fighting with cupboards, losing things, stuffing items wherever they fit and wondering why a beautiful room still feels hard to live in.

This service gives you clarity before big decisions are made. It helps you spend money wisely and stops you building storage that looks good but does not actually support your life.

How it works...

1

Starts with a simple chat

Once you contact me by email or WhatsApp, I’ll arrange a free 15-minute consultation. I’ll usually ask for a few photos or short videos first, or if you’re within 10 miles of Tring, I may be able to pop in.

We’ll talk through your space, what you need help with, likely timings, how many organisers may be needed and the cost. There’s no pressure, just a chance to see if Sort & Order is the right fit.

2

Then we get you booked in

Once we’ve agreed the plan, I’ll send over storage links for you to order, or I can source and bring storage with me at my hourly rate.

We’ll arrange a date and time that works for us both, and I’ll also suggest looking into local charity or recycling collections if we think they’ll be needed.

By this point, you’ll know what’s happening, and what to expect  before I arrive.

3

On the day, we get started.

On the day, we get started.

We’ll have a quick tour, agree the main priorities and make sure the session is focused on what will help you most.

You can work alongside me, or leave me to crack on.

At the end, I’ll walk you through the new systems, make any small tweaks and leave everything ready for you to use, with charity, rubbish and recycling sorted as agreed.
